Assignment:
Planning of an event. Two topics, for each one group with subgroups.

a) Planning of anniversary celebrations (20th anniversary of FH Westküste in 2013) including analysis of situation, goals, discussing and deciding on target groups, financing, activities, media, press releases, marketing materials, social media marketing, time table, milestones, human resources, volunteer programs for on and off campus persons (incl. alumni, senior citizens university participants etc.).
Starting point: Analysis of examples of other university anniversaries.

b) Planning of a fair (China Outbound Luxury Travel Fair) including analysis of situation, goals, discussing and deciding on target groups, identification on tour operators and international tourism service providers operating in the luxury market as possible visitors and exhibitors, financing, profitability, date, activities, media, press releases, marketing materials, social media marketing, time table, milestones, human resources.
Starting point: Analysis of examples of other tourism and luxury fairs.
